Add or remove access to your YouTube channel

If you have a Brand Account, you lot can now employ channel permissions to add or remove access to your YouTube channel instead. Note that Brand Accounts using channel permissions, including owners, temporarily tin can't apply Live Command Room. Learn more.

You can have multiple people manage your channel without giving them admission to your Google Business relationship. Inviting someone to manage your aqueduct:

Is safer than sharing your password.
Lets y'all give but the corporeality of access they need.
Is less confusing by making the user comment or view videos on YouTube with their own channel.

Limitations

Right now, people you've invited to manage your aqueduct:

Can only manage your aqueduct in YouTube Studio on figurer or partially on mobile.
Tin can't manage via YouTube.com or YouTube APIs.
Can't do certain actions in YouTube Studio (Run into the table below).
Owners can still make people moderators where they tin reply and moderate inside YouTube.com and the YouTube app.

Channel Permissions in YouTube Studio: Invite People to Help Manage Your Channel

To add access:

Get to studio.youtube.com.

Click Save.

To remove or change admission:

Become to studio.youtube.com.
On the left-manus side, click Settings.
Click Permissions.
Go to the person you'd like to remove and click the Down arrow.
Select a new role or click Remove access.

Annotation: Channel permissions don't support some parts of Studio merely yet. Even though the possessor can access these features, invited users can't access:

Features that aren't congenital into Studio, like Community post creation.
YouTube.com, YouTube Music, YouTube Kids app, or YouTube APIs.

To detect the channel possessor's name and e-mail:

If you manage a channel, yous can find out the channel owner'southward proper name and email. You may need this info, for example, to ask them to phone-verify their channel to get access to certain features.

Note: Only managers and the owner can view names and emails of people that take admission to a aqueduct.

Go to studio.youtube.com
Click Settings Permissions.
You'll view the proper name and email of anybody that has access to this channel. Make notation of the owner's info.
